Summary
This data set is the
updated Voting Precincts for Mississippi.
Description
This is the updated
voting precincts for Mississippi. The original data is the December 2010 US
Census Bureau's precinct files by county. In March 2012, MARIS staff updated
precinct boundaries for those counties that had received approval of new
boundaries by March 3 2012. Other counties' boundaries are based on the 2008 precincts
turned into the US Census Bureau for inclusion in the 2010 Census. The following
is a list of counties that were updated: DESOTO, MADISON, OKTIBBEHA, WALTHALL,
YAZOO, HINDS, RANKIN, JONES, JACKSON..
